How it all works...Contact us by phone, e-mail or facebook message to set up a reservation time for your float. We are only out there when we are expecting people, so if you just show up, we may not be there to help you! Your reservation time is the time we meet you out there. Once you arrive, you can unload everything you want to take on your float from your vehicles, like coolers, life jackets, etc. We will get you signed in and assist you with choosing your tubes. At this time, we can assist you with spotting your vehicles at the end where you exit the river after your float which is located in Burton, WI. One driver per vehicle from your group will follow our "shuttle" vehicle to the end, and our vehicle will bring your drivers back to the beginning to join the group to float. This way, you can relax and take your time out on the river, knowing your vehicles are waiting for you when you finish!

About the river... |
River levels and water conditions do fluctuate. The depth of the river varies along the float anywhere from several inches to a couple of feet or "waist=high", and in some spots it may be several feet deep. The majority of the river is fairly shallow with gentle rapids and a lazy river type of current. Rainfall (or lack of) does have an effect on the depth of the water, the speed of the current and the length of the float however each float averages approximately 3 hours and 5 hours respectively. Note that each float length has a different starting point, so you will want to indicate your choice when making your reservation.
Also, please keep in mind tubing on the Grant River is an activity in a natural environment, unlike a lazy river ride in a water park. You are visiting the natural habitat of many living things, including plants and animals, and they will definitely appreciate your help in keeping their home clean!
