COVID 19 UPDATE:
In our effort to keep all of us safe, we have implemented the following:
  • All people who ride in our shuttle vehicle will be required to wear a mask.  We will provide you with a bag to place your mask in during your float  but you will need to wear the mask while in our vehicle.  Please bring your own mask if you will be driving a vehicle & utilizing our shuttle.
  • We will sanitize our vehicle after every shuttle.  We do recommend that if at all possible, you spot your own vehicles to avoid having to use our shuttle.
  • We recommend that you complete your waiver ahead of time and bring it with you on the day of your float.
  • Online payments must be made in advance.  Cash or check payments on the day of your float at your arrival must be for the exact amount; no change will be given.
  • We cannot carry your belongings at the beginning or end of the float.  You are responsible for taking your coolers and belongings out of your tubes at the end of your float and carrying them off the river.
  • In our effort to maintain social distancing, we expect the people in the same group to assist those in their own group who need help exiting the river.  (Only in urgent/emergent situations where the safety of a person is at stake will we be able to assist those in need.)
  • We expect everyone to maintain at least a 6 foot distance from other groups prior to floats and when exiting the river.  Please be respectful of others at all times.
We know this seems inconvenient but we want to keep everyone safe.  We appreciate your patience, respect and courtesy of others while we try to provide the safest service possible.  Thank you very much!!

Things you need to know before you float

What to bring:

☺ “Secure footwear”: Water or aqua shoes, tennis shoes, river sandals with straps
(we see many flip-flops go floating down the river...!)

☺ Sun block or sunscreen - this is a must!!

☺ Bug spray - you just never know when they're going to "bug" you so be prepared!

☺ Cap, hat or visor & sunglasses (secured with strap) for extra sun protection
(there is a risk of losing these items as well so keep them inexpensive!)

☺ Life jacket - all should have one available, but worn at your own discretion.
(As long as the jackets are somewhere within your group, it's legal - like on a boat; they can be tucked away
under a seat, as long as they're there!)

☺ Drinking water & lots of it!!
(it is important to stay hydrated on hot summer days even if consuming other beverages, especially alcohol
     during your float)

☺ Designated driver - and remember that 21 is the legal alcohol consumption age in the state of Wisconsin!

☺ Cooler with drinking water along with snacks & other beverages you wish to
consume but PLEASE DO NOT LITTER

☺ Cash or personal check ONLY at the meeting spot if you did not pay online.  You may pay online via this
web site prior to your float.

☺  Confirmation email with address for your float:  for the long float, print directions from our web site as a
back-up to your GPS (see the note on the directions page regarding choosing a route on google maps -
very important!!)  For the short float, just plug the address into your GPS for your float.

☺ Waterproof camera - for capturing the moment(s)!!

What NOT to bring:

  • Valuable items; cell phone, car keys, jewelry (yes, people have lost rings!) etc.- anything you can't risk losing!
  • Money other than payment for tubing (again, anything you can't risk losing!)
  • Glass containers - these are illegal and could bring about a hefty fine if you're caught with them!
  • Styrofoam coolers - not sturdy and bad for the environment
  • Rope to tie tubes - we will supply you with what you need to keep your group together!
